Managing Conflict

Managers in today’s demanding business world are challenged to share information, sell new ideas, provide constructive feedback to subordinates, positively influence employee behavior, and effectively manage workplace conflict.  Recent studies amid the managerial ranks indicate that more workday hours are spent managing conflict than on other managerial duties – and that number continues to grow. Workplace conflict can impede teamwork efforts, erode employee commitment, and lower individual productivity.  Conversely, the ability to effectively manage workplace conflict opens line of communication and builds and strengthens relationships with clients as well as colleagues.

This interactive workshop uses customized case studies to illustrate how to adapt personal management styles to effectively manage conflict in the workplace.
